I came here with my Fiance last year for a last minute dinner and was super impressed. We decided to try again today for lunch. We had steak and bread last time and it was well cooked and seasoned well. The homemade garlic butter and bread was so good. This time we ordered the seafood cioppino and truffle gnocchi this time. The gnocchi was so good, my fiance really enjoyed it. The cioppino was good but felt a little underwhelming from what I had in San Francisco, but still overall good. Will continue to trying new stuff on the menu as this is so local to us.

Was having a serious craving for some carbonara so we stopped in for dinner during the Friday night farmers market. It wasn't too busy and they were able to seat us right away, but immediately after we sat down, they had to turn people away bc all the other empty tables were for reservations. The food was hit or miss - some excellent, some mediocre. Ambiance is wonderful but service is super slow.

We started off with their delicious warm bread - seemed very fresh and paired with their herbed butter, it's heavenly!! It's complimentary but you have to ask for it - they don't just automatically bring it out so be aware. Everything was very beautifully plated here.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with my Carbonara - it looks great and the portion is huge with a perfectly cooked egg on top - but it's extremely bland. Even after adding red pepper flakes, salt, and extra Parmesan - still completely bland. Their pancetta has no flavor so I suspect that's why? Not sure I'd get this again.

My hubby ordered the White Wine Shrimp Pasta and this was definitely the star of our dinner - it was fantastic! Again, plated beautifully with generous potions - came with 4 giant shrimp cooked perfectly. And the dish was intensely flavorful- lots of garlic and sauce - lovely! Highly recommend!

These pasta dishes were big enough for both of us to take a whole extra serving home - we could've easily shared one. But even still, I find their prices to be very high - especially for the area. Staff are mostly friendly. There's one or two that seem pretty unhappy but everyone else was friendly and welcoming. Service is very slow. Not sure if they were having an off night or staffing issues or something but it took ages for us to get boxes and the check and we never got refills on water. Our server was not visible most of the meal and never checked on us.

Location is great - right in the heart of Old Town with great views of the main street and especially nice for people watching during the farmers market. Parking is in the numerous public lots and street parking is available when it's not the Friday night farmers market time.

Tysen Q...Drew us in with such genuine kindness and truly sincere warmth!... We had many choices for lunch and stopped at a few but felt welcomed by Tysen...also, our waiter was great and lunch was delicious!

Enjoyed a night out with my BFF...never been there before... service excellent and food tasty but temperature is not  hot... It's above warm and I like my food piping hot. Others a pleads experience. We sat on the patio... Indoor seating was a available. had a martini, bruschetta appetizer was good... Tomato bisque average but nice size bowl.... Short rib huge and tasty mashed potatoes creamy ... Will definitely go back!

The food was amazing! But somehow, the star of the show was the butter that came with the bread and butter at the beginning of the meal. Our waiter was great, he checked in just enough without being overbearing. The inside restaurant feels fairly standard, like a modern taste on rustic decor, but the patio is something else! It's so cozy, and it looks like it'd be very romantic at night.

Friendly greeting, prompt seating and nice place for a dinner. Birthday for a friend here went very well. There was no wait time since we went on a Wednesday night and the server was very attentive and suggested several options for our meal. I LOVE the outdoor seating. Its such a great place to have a nice banquet or baby shower or event because it is a nice place and very open with seating.

Ate here with my girlfriend for the Dine Arcadia experience featuring Butcher Block from Irwindale. The service was excellent, there was a lot of variety in the offering of meat, and the drink menu was also quite good. I'll definitely be coming back to try the restaurant proper soon.
